Overview

Auto Response for Google Form helps a Google Form owner configure AI-assisted email replies for form submissions. The Add-on is designed to use Google user data only for the user-facing features shown in the product: selecting a recipient email field, generating editable reply instructions, previewing a sample reply, and sending replies when enabled.

We do not sell Google user data. We do not use Google user data for advertising, retargeting, personalized ads, creditworthiness, lending, or surveillance. We do not use Google user data to train generalized AI models.

Data we access

Depending on how you configure the Add-on, it may access the following data from your Google Form and related Google services:

• Google Form metadata, such as the form title, description, question titles, question types, and answer choices.
• Form submission data, such as answers submitted by respondents and respondent email addresses when your form collects email addresses or when you select an email question.
• Email sending information needed to send a reply, such as the recipient email address, generated subject, and generated email body.
• Add-on settings, such as automation on/off status, selected email field, prompt, subject template, tone, reply length, AI assistant selection, sample preview answers, and generated preview text.

The Add-on requests only permissions needed to provide these features.

How we use data

We use Google user data only to provide or improve the Add-on's visible user-facing features. Specifically, we use it to:

• Detect likely recipient email fields in your Google Form.
• Generate editable reply prompts and email subject templates when you request AI generation.
• Generate sample answers and email previews for your review.
• Generate and send automatic email replies for new form submissions when you enable automatic replies.
• Store your Add-on settings and preview state so the Add-on does not repeatedly call AI services for unchanged content.

Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell, rent, publicly disclose, or otherwise transfer Google user data to third parties for advertising, analytics resale, data brokerage, surveillance, creditworthiness, lending, or any unrelated purpose.

When you use AI generation features, relevant form metadata, sample answers, or submitted answers may be processed by AI service providers only as necessary to provide the visible Add-on feature you requested, such as generating a prompt, preview, subject, or reply email. These providers are used as service processors for the requested feature and are not permitted by us to use the data for advertising or generalized model training.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect against abuse or security threats, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets after providing any legally required notice or consent.

Storage and retention

We do not operate a separate application database for storing your Google Form submissions. Add-on settings, sample preview answers, and generated preview text may be stored in Google Apps Script Properties associated with the add-on and the active form, so the Add-on can reload your configuration and avoid repeated AI calls for unchanged content.

Generated reply emails are sent through your configured Google account. We do not maintain a separate reply history in this version.

You can remove stored Add-on data by uninstalling the Add-on, clearing the relevant Apps Script properties, or contacting us for assistance.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data handled by the Add-on. Data is transmitted using modern encrypted connections where supported by Google and service providers. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account, form, add-on deployment, and any API keys or provider settings you configure.

Google API Limited Use compliance

Auto Response for Google Form's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Your choices and controls

• You choose whether automatic replies are enabled or disabled.
• You choose which field contains the recipient email address.
• You can edit generated prompts, subject templates, and sample answers before use.
• You can stop using the Add-on or uninstall it at any time.
• You can contact us to request help with deletion or privacy questions.

Children

The Add-on is not directed to children under 13 and should not be used in a way that requires collecting children's personal information unless you have all required legal authority and consents.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and publish the revised policy on this website.
